Trust & Safety

Updated August 1, 2026

RoomMeet helps class pages collect student submissions in a more organized way. Our goal is to make the submission process cleaner, easier to manage, and easier to correct if something needs to be changed.

Submission Review

Submissions may be reviewed before posting.

A submission may be checked for missing information, formatting issues, inappropriate content, duplicate submissions, or content that does not fit the page.

Review does not mean RoomMeet verifies every student's identity, background, enrollment status, or roommate compatibility.

Edits And Removals

Signed-in students can edit from Account before a post goes live. Anyone can also use Support on roommeet.net or email support@roommeet.net.

Include the Instagram handle, school, tracking number if available, and what needs to be edited or removed.

Removal requests should clearly say that the post should be taken down.

Impersonation

Do not submit a post pretending to be someone else.

If you believe someone submitted a post using your name, photos, Instagram handle, or identity without permission, contact support.

Email support@roommeet.net with the school, Instagram handle, and a short explanation of the issue.

Harassment Or Inappropriate Content

RoomMeet does not support submissions that are meant to harass, embarrass, impersonate, threaten, or target another person.

If you see a post connected to RoomMeet that creates a safety or harassment concern, contact support with as much detail as possible.

Privacy Reminders

Students should be thoughtful about what they include in a public class page post.

Avoid sharing home addresses, phone numbers, financial information, passwords, private documents, exact class schedules, or anything sensitive or overly personal.

Class page posts are meant to help students introduce themselves, not share private information.

Payments And Checkout

Some class pages may require payment to submit or be posted.

Where offered, Standard is a monthly subscription and Skip the Line (Priority) is a one-time charge. Payments are processed through Stripe. RoomMeet does not store full card details directly.

Students should review the checkout page, posting details, and applicable refund or subscription terms before submitting.
